 Is reentry to USA from Canada possible with only H1-B document?

I need to visit Canada in the process of completing my immigrant as PR. I wish to return USA after completing my immigration process. Currently I am on H1-B status and previously I was on F1 status. Since there is some time constrain I am not able to schedule any appointment in US consulate for my re-entry visa. I am wondering if one can enter USA from Canada with only H1-B document without visa? Help please, if any of you know anything about this.

If you have a valid H1B visa and your status while in US is clear, I don't see why you should be worried. But again, anything could happen. Best of luck

You need these,

- A letter from your employer stating your responsibilities in the company
- Current pay stubs
- Tax documents of previous years
- Previous expired passports that had visa stamped when entered to USA (if any)
- INS document 797 (also called H1B status document)
- Other necessary forms to apply for visa
- Appoinment letter you printed out from Internet.
