i am about to file for my i-485. so can i file for my wife green card concurrently by putting her name on  my i-485 petition  or do i need to wait until i get my green card to apply her?  if i can file together, will we be getting the green card at the same time?  i really need some advice here.

 You can file for your wife concurrently, but she will have to fill out a different I485 form and the fee as well. Don't wait until you receive your greencard, it will complicate the case, and will take longer.
