If you are going in December don't say them that you are going in dec otherwise they will tell you that this is the season so the ticket is expensive. tell them you are going in October then they will say you are in peak season if you were going on dec we could get a cheaper ticket. then ask them price for October and act like you need a ticket for October real bad. ask unknowingly what would the cost for December be. and catch them.

I had the same situation. i contacted one of nepali travel agent in virginia and he said the same thing" ohh its season, the tickets are too expensive". I was buying one way ticket and that too was $1250.

There is a travel Warning against visiting Nepal...visit under extremely unavoidable circumstances and you will be responsible for your own safety. The government of Nepal is known to kill it's citizens and foreigners are often extorted and/or kidnapped.
