त्यती धेरै मल्लाइ पनि थहा छैन तर visitor visa मा लेउन मिल्छ भन्ने सुनेको छु। visitor विसा शायद a type of टुरिष्ट विसा हुनु पर्छ।

Asrin, I think Visitor visa is the only relevant visa that can be issued to ur parents. Generally 5 years visa is issued for visitors but their stay should not be over 6 months in each visit and again they can visit multiple times. So what you can do is apply them for visitor visa. They will come here and when thier stay comes to be near 6 months then take them to a trip to Canada or Mexico. While returning back they will be given another 6 months of stay permit. You can do this on and on if you want to lengthen their stay.

They will get 6 months and then you can extend for another 6 months. Sometimes in some instances (medical problems/Pregnancies of you wife where she is unable to take care of herself or needs to be cared for) I have seen extended for another 6 months, Total of 1 and 1/2 years( But there are chances of not getting approved too). For this you don't have to go to canada/mexico. But then after you can go to Canada/Mexico and extend it likewise as advised by Solitude.
